Local Artist Gallery and "Meet and Greet" event at the Santa Rosa County Visitor Information Center
The Santa Rosa County Tourist Development Office is hosting a local artist gallery to showcase the art community of Santa Rosa County. The work of Dawn McBrien, the first to be featured, will be on display Sept. 16-27 at the Santa Rosa County Visitor Information Center located at 8543 Navarre Parkway in Navarre. A "meet and greet" with McBrien will kick off the showing on Mon., Sept. 16 from 12 to 4 p.m.
To be considered for the gallery, both the artist and artwork must be located and created in Santa Rosa County. Tourism staff will review and approve the art theme, medium and message. Staff will not handle or sell exhibit pieces but will direct interested buyers to the artist. For rules and application for consideration, call 850-981-8900. # # #
