Pranayama is the expansion or manifestation of prana. Prana is brought into the body on the wave of the breath.
Luckily, whether we are aware of our breath, or not, throughout the day we continue to breathe. Yet, the quality of our breath is crucial for us to be aware of, and control, if we are to be balanced and healthy. How well we breathe from moment to moment is instrumental to our daily well being.
