Annual Military Appreciation Picnic

Call for Sponsors Now Through May 1

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce Military & Veteran Affairs Committee will host the 7th Annual Military Appreciation Picnic, “Saluting Hometown Heroes,” on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Navarre Park, 8513 Navarre Parkway.

This Navarre community-wide event is a special day dedicated to honoring, remembering, recognizing and appreciating those who have served and those who are currently serving. Presented by Eglin Federal Credit Union, the picnic is free for all military in the Navarre area — active duty, retired, veterans, and their families.

Guests are invited to enjoy a fun-filled day featuring free food, games, live entertainment by the Blue Levee Band, giveaways, fellowship, and military and veteran resources. More than 600 attendees are expected to join in this celebration of our hometown heroes.

The Chamber is currently seeking sponsors, volunteers, and donation items through May 1 to help make this event a success, including contributions for the Grand Prize giveaway. Businesses, organizations, and individuals who would like to get involved or arrange donation pick-up can contact the Chamber Office at 850-939-3267.

In the Navarre area, our military members, veterans, and their families are our neighbors, coaches, co-workers, and friends. This event is a heartfelt thank you from the community and an opportunity to strengthen the bond between the military and the Navarre area business community.
